Dear Mr. Bauer,
In response to your recent
survey, I would like to say the following about Air Tech
Heating and A/C Inc:
In 2008, we totally remodeled
an old 1420 sq ft home and ended up with a 3400 sq ft,
single story home with a 6 car garage plus other amenities.
I acted as my own contractor and interviewed 2 or 3
contractors for each stage of construction. I met with
Matt Baber (Air Tech HVAC) as well as with 3 other companies
and asked for bids. Matt impressed me with his
knowledge, expertise, confidence, product and pricing and
so, we selected him for the project. (FYI - I have a
close friend in Virginia who is a large HVAC contractor.
When I asked him to recommend a brand, he emphatically
suggested TRANE). We ended up with 2 furnaces, a 5 ton
and a 3 ton TRANE XB90 and two AC units, a 5 ton 14 SEER and
a 3 ton 14 SEER with dual zoned controls. To date,
both systems have performed wonderfully.
Air Tech's crew was very
courteous and efficient and stayed in touch with us even
after we moved into our new home (Oct 2008). They
visited on at least two separate occasions to insure that
everything was in working condition and asked if we had any
questions. Luckily for us, they discovered an error
made during installation and quickly corrected it.
They also came back in the summer to adjust and test the
cooling functions. They truly seem to care for the
customer.
In addition to the excellent
service, Matt explained the SMUD rebates that we qualified
for and even submitted the appropriate paperwork needed for
us to receive them. Now that is customer care!
I own a rental unit (4 BR/3 BA
Home) which had an HVAC problem in Jan 2010. I was
quick to contact Matt and ask for assistance. He sent
a technician that very same day and he expertly diagnosed
the problem, along with photos, and explained what needed to
be done. He did not overreact and provided two
options, explaining the pros and cons of each, and the
expenses involved. Because of a restriction on which
contractor I could use for repairs (Home Warranty) I was
unable to have Air Tech replace the defective unit.
Otherwise, I certainly would have.
In summary, I would not
hesitate to recommend Air Tech or TRANE to anyone looking
for a reliable product and trustworthy contractor.
Matt also periodically sends out a newsletter for his
clients' benefit and that is a good way to stay in touch.
Warmest regards,
Mr. Lombardi |
